The team included representatives from MIT and Georgia Tech. Developed a data collection tool for the Air Force Wire Integrity Program to collect discrete wiring failure data that will facilitate engineering analysis of aircraft wiring malfunction trends. Implementation of this tool required successful coordination of the efforts of four Air Force database management organizations. This tool was integrated into the standard Air Force aircraft maintenance data collection system and is operational throughout the Air Force. Participated in the development of several contract proposals for Air Force Research Laboratory and Air Force Materiel Command programs. Supported the development of Small Business Innovative Research contract proposals for a company engaged in advance research into G-load effects on aircrew members in tactical air combat situations.


Lean Sustainment Initiative (LSI) Manager, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)

Along with researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Georgia Institute of Technology, supported five joint government-industry-academia research teams investigating maintenance issues such as metrics, parts availability, and requirements forecasting. Was responsible to a four-Service General Officer panel for assessing workload assignments among 34 major DOD depot maintenance overhaul facilities.
