Was responsible for supervision of engineers (approx. 30) and coordination and design of furnace structural, and water-cooled component engineering drawings. Was actively involved in all design processes relating to in-house projects. Was actively involved in the design of new technology relating to the design of Electric Arc Furnaces with our parent company in Germany including the development of the “Shaft Furnace” design. Was responsible for team of engineers and designers upgrading piping systems on offshore tanker loading terminals.
