Eliminated distortion of metal parts during stamping operation that resulted in reduction of product scrap. Analyzed residual stresses in stamped parts and implemented a relief technique that resulted in producing non deformed electrical contact/ connectors parts. Improved strength of Cu- Be and Fe- V alloys using thermo-mechanical processing. Developed and demonstrated a thin film coating method for fluidized metal power; the coating reduced inter-particle friction and set up the stage for molding and fabrication of net shape parts.
