Designed and built a test lab utilizing A/D boards, frame grabbers, digital cameras, continuous and pulsed lasers, optical systems, pressure transducers, and thermocouples.

Mechanical Components & Systems Group Performed internal flow and heat transfer analysis of rocket-related projects including: 2-D thermal modeling for the Space Shuttle Main Engine Alternate H2 and LOx turbopumps(currently used in flight), and bearing test rigs; and Hydrostatic Bearing Test Rig for National Aerospace Plane Designed the company's first gas thrust bearing for the Hydrostatic Bearing Test Rig. Authored several innovative processes to improve FEA model production and analysis. Rocket Combustion Group Designed rocket engine combustors and associated hardware. Streamlined the process of designing rocket engine combustors saving and estimated $100,000 per year. Awarded the President's Club award for outstanding cost savings.
